NTN at the EuCnC

The 2023 EuCNC & 6G Summit happened earlier this year between the 3rd and 6th of June 2023 in Gothenburg!  This year’s conference combines two of Europe’s premier events in communication networks: the European Conference on Networks and Communications (EuCNC) and the 6G Summit where many NTN projects were also present.

6G visions and early technology following the launch of numerous regional 6G initiatives were shown and demonstrated.

The SNS JU is led jointly by industry and the European Commission. It has set out both the strategy and the tools to develop technology capacities for 6G systems. Only recently, it has launched 35 projects with a combined EU funding of around EUR 250 million. And more is expected this year with a call for project proposals of EUR 132 million. These efforts involve experimental infrastructures, large-scale trials, and pilots for various industries.
